Jenna Elfman (Dharma & Greg) is back on TV. And while most times I’d be supportive of an older actress returning to the screen, the project Ms. Elfman has chosen to make her return has me aghast. And I’ll tell you why.
Peptic ulcers have been around for as long as people have been eating food. But it has only been in the last few decades that the real cause of ulcers has been uncovered. Before that medical history making discovery, stress was considered the reason for ulcers. We now know that ulcers are caused by a bacteria infection or the over use of NSAIDs.
In Jenna Elfman’s new TV show, ‘Imaginary Mary’, she has an imaginary friend who has returned after several years of being gone.
When I hear people say they had an imaginary friend when they were little, I immediately think, “No you didn’t.
You didn’t have a friend at all. What you had was a malevolent individual who preyed on you both physically and psychically. And in the case of Ms. Elfman’s character, sexually as well.
Her imaginary friend was ‘imaginary’ all during her pre-pubescent years but as she grew older, her imaginary friend disappeared. It was only when she started dating a man with young children did the imaginary friend return.
It sounds to me like Imaginary Mary might be a pedophile as well as a psychic stalker. She needs to kick Imaginary Mary’s ass to the curve.
The longer that piece of shit stays in your house or in your life, the harder it is to get rid of them. Take my life as a cautionary warning. Psychic stalkers start out as imaginary friends but as you grow older – and don’t need or want them around — they become erotomanic stalkers, the worst of the bunch; because they feel they know you and own you.
Two thumbs way down on Imaginary Mary.
P.S. And yes, detectives. It is because they don’t want a man in my life. A man would – they think – provide protection and proof.
