As I struggle trying to find a mechanic to repair my car, who the stalkers haven’t persuaded to rip me off, I am reminded of a Currie Motors of Forest Park incident. Dear old Currie Motors once tried to charge me $187.00 to repair the clock in my car.
What was wrong, you ask. Time change. You know it as Daylight Savings Time. I hadn’t bothered to change the time on the clock. And Currie’s service personnel offered to undertake this tedious task for a mere $187.00. (I get this all time, because you know I’m too stupid to report the stalkers to the Police and have them arrested.)
Well, anyway, The clock in my Aveo is easier to change than my alarm clock at home. You just lean over and press the top button until you get to the desired time.
$187.00 really? And people tell me I can’t control my temper.
I’m going to keep looking, or just park my car and forget it until the Village drops a net on the stalkers. Maybe, I’ll leave the car to my nephew in my will.
